Comments - big list, quick run-through...
  • "396 players on 16 national ice hockey teams" I'd prefer "from" rather than "on" but it's personal.

  • "the sport's highest-profile annual international tournament." def needs a couple of references.

  • "The 2009 IIHF World Championship was the 73rd edition of the tournament and was held in Berne and Zurich-Kloten, Switzerland." - reword so you can lose one "was", i.e. "The 2009 IIHF WC, held in ..., was the 73rd..."

  • "Before the start of the World Championship" don't see a need to repeat World here as it's clear which championship you're talking about.

  • "an additional two players, either skaters or goaltenders," reads to me like they could add either two skaters or two goaltenders, but not one skater and one goaltender. Is that right?
it appears when reading the player entry form that it just simply thats that you can select 2 more players which can be skaters or goalies, i removed the "either skaters or goaltenders" so it reads simply as an additional 2 skaters. Salavat (talk) 05:19, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Why is stats key a table with 5 then 7 rows? The four blank cells look odd to me.

  • Being consistent with most other sporting lists, if a player plays 0 times, then the other statistics are usually en-dashes (which sort like a zero).

Now you just need to get the en-dashes to sort as less than 0, so if you had 3, 4, 0 and – they'd sort –, 0, 3, 4 or 4, 3, 0, –. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:45, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think MOSFLAG would prefer you add a country name to the flags you're using with head coaches.

It does say it here. However i think it sounds a little strange. I can understand putting the country name next to the flag if nothing else is next to the flag but we have the coachs name directly next to it. the flagicon template does link to the respected country. However after reading this here, sentence 3, maybe they should be removed to avoid confusion. thoughts? Salavat (talk) 03:31, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • The Min columns for the goaltenders doesn't appear to be sorting correctly (in FF3.6). Take the first one, Austria, for instance. When sorting in ascending order, 299:24 comes before 60:00. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but 299 minutes is greater than 60. This appears to be an issue with all goaltender tables.
  • Well im assuming you mean firefox 3.6 so i upgraded to that version to see it for myself but everything seems to be sorting fine for me. I can go through and completly tag every number for the goaltenders stats if you think it is nessecary. Currently i have used the sort template on all the endashes which makes them a zero, and then any zeros as 1's and then the 1's as 2's if that situation arises. Is it only the Min column your having problems with?

  • Also, when sorting in descending order, the dashes should be at the bottom.
Again that issue seems to be fine for me
  • As a suggestion, I'd recommend archival of the various rosters using WebCitation.
I started archiving some of the refs, normal web pages worked fine and the team roster worked for Austria but when i did Belarus it came up with a jumble of code, also same with this one, [2] any ideas? Salavat (talk) 18:20, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
