I am nominating this for featured article because the article has greatly improved over the past few months.This article also passes all the criteria for FA.Also Sunil is one of the best footballer of India .RRD13 (talk) 09:12, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose: It's not altogether the nominator's fault that he/she was misled by a premature GA grading into thinking this article was worthy of FAC nomination, but it's a terrible advert for the GA process. Oppose: Man. What happened with this one? The article was in alright shape when it was reviewed and promoted for GA. Due to the popularity of the player (I suppose) the article quickly unraveled. Needs a rewrite. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 00:22, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Closing comment -- I'll be archiving this shortly. In addition to the above comments, RRD13, pls note that information in a Featured Article (and indeed GA) needs to be fully cited to reliable sources, which this is not. If you are able to address the shortfalls, pls consider taking it to Peer Review before returning to FAC.
