I'm nominating this article for featured article because I feel it is up to featured article status. It's factually accurate (all statements in the lede are sourced in the article), neutral (hard to have a bias about a hurricane), comprehensive (it only covers the meteorological history of Hurricane Ivan), stable, follows the MOS (I believe), has free images, and is of appropriate length for such a storm.
