I am nominating this for featured article because the club is a part of the Indian Premier League one of the biggest cricketing tournaments ever and also one of the most successful teams in Twenty20 Cricket.

Morever the errors and lack of citiations have been fixed to comply with FAC norms. Taxiboy277 (talk) 12:35, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose sorry, but I have to. I can see many issues:
- First, all references are not formatted properly (using {{cite web}} or {{cite news}}).
- Etymology section is too short.
- Some sections are unsourced (Awards, Administration etc)
- Moreover, some of the links provided as references are dead.
