Iowa class battleships (1st supplementary nomination)
[edit]This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Iowa class battleships for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:
I am initiating this supplementary nomination on behalf of TomStar81 (talk · contribs) who is the primary author of the articles in this featured topic as well as the article this supplementary nomination seeks to add to the topic because he is currently on an extended wikibreak until December. Normally we would wait until he returned, but since this topic is currently under a retention period that ends in mid-November with regards to this article, Tom has given his blessing to continue on with the nomination in his absence. The article USS Missouri grounding incident has attained Good Article status and should be added to the topic for the same reasons that USS Iowa turret explosion is currently included in the topic. -MBK004 20:27, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Support - shouldn't be controversial. —Ed (talk • contribs) 20:30, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Support - per Ed. Though, since this is only a GA, shouldn't the FT temporarily lose the File:Cscr-featuredtopic.png? Parsecboy (talk) 20:46, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- It will, but the software can't pick up that all the articles in the topic aren't featured until the article is actually added to the topic - rst20xx (talk) 21:44, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
