I doubt in the time that this takes to clear I will have DJ Hero, Band Hero, or anything new on GH: Van Halen to GA though still in the timeframe to bring these up, but GH5 is getting close. I can hold off on this as long as that's ok with the FTC reviewers. Agreed. 3.c. means PR, the GAs don't need to come til later, so I think we should get those done now before the sup nom finishes. Having said that, Guitar Hero: On Tour series does need to be GA, but I see it's currently nominated and it's already part of the topic so I think it would be fine to close this sup nom before that GAN is concluded, on the assumption that the GAN will pass :) (if it doesn't, we can readdress at that stage) rst20xx (talk) 15:13, 14 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Why should Band Hero, DJ Hero and its song list be on this topic? They are just spin-offs. If the Legend of Zelda titles topic included spinoffs, there would articles like Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland and those CD-i games in the topic. - Because they are branded by Activision as Guitar Hero games. Sure, you can argue they don't have to be included, but given that the gameplay and approach are similar, cmpared with the Zelda games, it would be improper to exclude them. --MASEM (t) 04:34, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also on the new format (which is fine here), is there a way to put in the list of songs for the articles that include those as well (eg like Smash Hits) so that it's clear there's a list of songs for it but not a separate article? Hmm that's complicated. Firstly it's worth pointing out that before the new format, the lack of mentioning a list of songs for Smash Hits etc already existed. The issue with mentioning the songs for Smash Hits is that we need to make clear somehow that they're not in a separate article. I think the best solution is to mention in the same pipe that the list of songs is in the article, like this:

Comment/State of affairs - I've updated the book. Unfortunately time has passed such that DJ Hero and Band Hero need to be GA soon. The latter is at GAN, I imagine the former isn't far away. - Got the GH5 Mobile stuff added (there is hardly anything but I did get the setlist and at least one critique of the game there). Once that article is created, then Masem will have 3 months to get it peer reviewed and added to the topic. - You know, I think the second should be ok. It's apparent that all these games have songs lists, so if they aren't listed as a separate list, then they should be implied as part of the main article. Also, to note, I've taken the PR on DJ Hero and now made it up to GA standards and a GAN, so progress continues.
