A new article was created for Dolores recently and it got GA status today. ~ KN2731 {talk · contribs} 14:51, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
- Support with comment: This certainly belongs. The fact that this article wasn't in the original nomination would seem to mean that the original GT proposal was incomplete and should have failed? Or, has this cyclone somehow just now become notable, though it wasn't when the topic was created? Do we have standards to judge which tropical cyclones are notable? -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 15:16, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
- Articles on specific tropical cyclones are considered content forks of their respective season articles. I didn't think Dolores caused sufficient impacts to justify a separate article when I went around compiling the original topic, but someone else did and managed to flesh out a complete article. ~ KN2731 {talk · contribs} 16:25, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Bryanrutherford0: The creation of the article was heavily opposed initially, however, more information on the storm's impacts was discovered. The issue here is that since new information has been found, the section would have been too large for the season article and required a split. Creation can be borderline on storms with minimal reported impact. NoahTalk 16:32, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
- Support obvious addition to the topic. NoahTalk 16:32, 24 September 2020 (UTC)

Early history of video games (1st supplementary nomination)
[edit]This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Early history of video games for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:
I made this topic back in 2016, then encompassing every video game we had an article on prior to 1972 (aka the start of the commercial video game industry). I thought at the time that that was pretty much it- while there were certainly other games, they were pretty much without impact and did not have enough sourcing to make an article, or more than a passing mention. I was proven wrong 2 years later when Coin945 made Marienbad (and I pushed it to GA), which did have little impact but had enough sourcing due to its unearthed status as the first Polish video game. I neglected to add it to this topic (sorry!), but more recently a second game has been made into an article (this time by Ylee this past September) and then expanded these past couple weeks to GA: The Sumerian Game, which in older research was just "there was a game about Sumer made before Hamurabi and that's probably where he got the idea from", but more recent digging has proven to be potentially the first game with a narrative and the first to be designed by a woman, in addition to definitely being the direct/only inspiration for Hamurabi. So, two articles made, and this time I've remembered (aka been prodded by GamerPro64) to add them to the topic. I'm pretty sure (again...) that there's nothing else that will pop up, so this should be the only addition to the topic. --PresN 22:28, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

Mana series (2nd supplementary nomination)
[edit]This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Mana series for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:
When this topic was created in 2015 it looked like the Mana series might be defunct; since then Square Enix has added a couple games (/addition1) and has remade some of their existing titles as part of a general trend towards HD 3D remakes of their older 2D games. The latest of which, the remake of Trials of Mana, came out a month and a half ago, and was sufficiently changed from the original to get its own article, and has already been brought to GA by ProtoDrake. As such, it's ready to get added to the topic. Thanks for reviewing! --PresN 14:46, 4 June 2020 (UTC)

No this is not déjà vu, or me posting the same thing again - while the topic was waiting to pass the addition of the last championship, CMLL brought back two more championships - which is usually spread out by years or more. Both have passed, one as FL and one as GA and thus fit into the Feature Topic. I did not want to interrupt the previous process as these were passed well after most people commented on the previous nomination. MPJ-DK (talk) 21:05, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
- Support: Look like suitable additions now that the championships have been reintroduced.

Briarcliff Manor (2nd supplementary nomination)
[edit]This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Briarcliff Manor for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:
I am nominating the newly-created First American International Road Race article to be added to this list of notable subjects related to Briarcliff Manor. Thank you. ɱ (talk) 18:10, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
- Weak oppose: I'm not sure I completely grasp the scope of this topic (it strikes me that "Scarborough Historic District" should perhaps be its own topic, and then the properties in that district would make better sense in that topic than here), but I suppose this race makes as much sense here as "Beechwood" does. If it is to be added, then the new article needs to be actually put into the topic box above. -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 18:26, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
- Hey - yeah perhaps from the names it might be hard to put the pieces together. But if you read any of the Briarcliff history books, they focus on each of the village's historic sites above (many of which are in the Scarborough Historic District, Beechwood included). The road race is mentioned in every one of these books as one of the most prominent events centered in Briarcliff in the early 1900s, only a few years after it was founded. ɱ (talk) 19:52, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
- Maybe, but my point is that, if that's true (about the importance of the race to the history of Briarcliff Manor), then it was already true when the topic was first proposed, which means the topic was incomplete at that point and should never have been promoted. It looks to me as though this new article is really part of the subtopic "History of Briarcliff Manor" and doesn't belong in this main topic. After thinking this over, I'm shifting my vote to "weak oppose". I'll reiterate that it looks to me like this topic needs to be rethought, with all the individual historic sites within the historic district being moved into a subtopic. -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 01:12, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
- When the topic was proposed, I really didn't think there were enough sources for an article. Same goes for many other Briarcliff topics - churches, the synagogue, the village hall, post office, former train station, community center, Scarborough, Chilmark, the historical society, many of the parks, etc. None of those have articles, nor enough sources. But, hey, sometimes you stumble upon more, and I happened to for the race, and decided roughly five to six years after all those GAs were created to write another. And the historic district only has articles for three of its seven notable properties; not really a good case for a featured topic. This is the best collection of articles related to the village of Briarcliff Manor, with the road race as one of its most notable historical/international events a key important segment of the village's identity. ɱ (talk) 03:56, 30 March 2020 (UTC)

- Weak support - reading the comments on the original topic and yes, this would fit in, but it does open the topic up for some uncertainty, if the inclusion is not 100% crystal clear it makes it harder to say that it is "Complete" as such. MPJ-DK (talk) 22:09, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
- This nomination has been stalled long enough. I am Closed with no consensus to add First American International Road Race to the topic. This can open up another attempt for another Supp nom or a nomination for removal. That can be the decision of whatever comes first. GamerPro64 17:39, 27 May 2020 (UTC)

The newly created CMLL World Mini-Estrella Championship has been passed for GA and can be added to this Feature Topic to make sure it is comprehensive. MPJ-DK (talk) 02:02, 18 January 2020 (UTC)
CommentSupport: Something strange is going on here. CMLL World Mini-Estrella Championship is not newly created and did not recently pass GA, but rather it is already a FL and already part of this topic since the topic's creation in 2017; it's already the top article in the right column that you just added it to a second time. Did you mean to add a different article? -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 03:24, 18 January 2020 (UTC)
- Bryanrutherford0 - what is going on is a brain fart on my part, I copied the link, but forgot to change "Mini" to "Micro". I am asking to add the CMLL World Micro-Estrellas Championship... and and I'm apparently a barely functioning idiot at times. This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Ipswich Town F.C. for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:
I am nominating the article "Ipswich Town F.C. in European football" to be part of the larger Ipswich Town topic. European competition is very important in the history of many football clubs, including Ipswich Town, who won the UEFA Cup back in 1981. Just recently, the article was promoted to GA status. Seeing as how the Liverpool topic includes the article for their history in Europe, I believe that this article should be added to the topic. KingSkyLord (talk | contribs) 00:00, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
- Contingent support: Seems a reasonable expansion of the scope. It looks to me like this new article is not currently linked from the main article's text (only in the navbox at the bottom), and that should really be corrected if it's an important enough facet of the topic to belong here. I give my support contingent on the new article being better incorporated into the main article. -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 03:31, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
