The Working Group, which was established to spin out the Wikipedia Education Program in the US and Canada from the Wikimedia Foundation, came to consensus about creating a non-profit organization to support education initiatives in the US and Canada. The board will seek to affiliate with the Wikimedia movement as a Thematic Organization. Here are some of the tasks and updates about the process.
