Considering Germany's past, its military tradition and involvement in many of the most important armed conflicts in History, this could be perhaps one of the most relevant Military History articles to have... and it doesn't even exist yet.

- Ben davison - not sure I'd be much use, but I support on the basis that this would be an important article given the history of Germany in military matters.

- Covering the period in the History of Germany I hope, and not just the modern German state after 1871. —RJH 19:28, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

- The scope needs to be better defined, though; ~2000 years of military history could make for a rather large article. Kirill Lokshin 20:29, 25 October 2005 (UTC)

- Batmanand 01:19, 29 October 2005 (UTC) - couldn't agree more. This is an essential topic for expansion. Lots of people will have knowledge, so it should attract a goodly number of new editors too.
