Wikipedia:Cleanup Taskforce/Tutelary
Appearance
Nothing particulary wrong with the article specified, but I am very confused with all the different mythological beings, and would very much want a separate page sorting out and redirecting among gnomes, elves, genies etc, not to mention the links to other languages. They seem to be partly overlapping each other, and giving contradictory information. I'm not fluent enough in English, nor do I posess enough knowledge in the matter, to do it myself. (Or, for that matter, to find the right place to post this comment...) Islander(Scandinavia) 11:35, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not sure the above comment is to the point. The article is on Tutelary spirits and gives several examples. The above request may be for an article on mythological creatures. RJFJR 19:22, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- Something like that, yes, though the page you suggest doesn't feel exactly like what I'm after. I just don't really know how to put it, but kind'a hoped that someone in the taskforce would strighten up what the task in this case could be. Somehow there doesn't seem to be something adding up what generally is referred to as "the little people" of mythological descent. A page that doesn't really describe anything deeper, but sorted the beings into different cathegories; fiction and fantasy, folklore, mythology, perhaps sorted geographically also, with appropriate linkage. The reason I picked "Tutelary" was it's just one of the articles that handle this type of creatures, as it didn't seem to be the habit in that page to refere to several headers.
