Wikipedia:Cleanup Taskforce/London Underground anagram map

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Heavy with trivia and irrelevance. The original author of the article is being very possessive about any attempted cleanup. --McGeddon 16:27, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Looks OK now. Neatened up tightened a bit. Headings look OK. Closed. RJFJR 14:08, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Several times this article uses the word "censorship" to refer to sites voluntarily removing content over copyright issues. Granted, it doesn't seem that these particular copyright claims (that the photoshopped anagram map ingfringed upon the original map) were ever tested in court....but does this sort of removal amount to censorship? It isn't an authoritative body forcefully removing content; it's a copyright holder threatening legal action and an alleged infringer capitulating. I'm not sure how it ought to be rephrased, but I don't think this particular diction is appropriate.
