Function details: The bot's processes are explained at {{cite wdl}}—basically, it waits for a user to add {{cite wdl|##}} to an article, and then creates Template:Cite wdl/## with the citation template for that given ID at the World Digital Library. Examples are available at the template's page, and addition of more parameters is ongoing.

Seems there might be plenty of ways to go wrong here, but it is also the sort of task tailor-made for a bot to ease a tedious aspect of human editing. Please check results of trial carefully.
