Function overview: An BRFA to request approval to send newsletters or other talk page messages to the User talk: and Talk: when requested by users, or WikiProjects. This was approved at Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Thehelpfulbot 2 for the WikiCup newsletter and Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Thehelpfulbot 8 (but this could be deemed a little too vague).

Function details: This is BRFA to be able to deliver generic newsletters or other message in both the Talk: and User talk: namespaces - I have 2 previous BRFAs but their vagueness is open to interpretation so I'd like to make sure that the request that I plan to fulfill at Wikipedia:Bot_requests#Message_to_take_part_in_Assessment_Drive and future requests are fully approved. As the request would like messages to be delivered to all users on Wikipedia:WikiProject India/Members, this accounts to 754 user talk pages. Trial complete. There was a minor issue with the bot putting a timestamp twice which I noticed and fixed, but this was a result of the template that I created, User:Thehelpfulone/TagAndAssess to substitute, not the bot script and shouldn't affect any talk page archiving bots.
