Function Overview: A bot is requested to ensure that bad image tags ({{badimage}}) on image pages are kept synchronized with MediaWiki:Bad image list. Per BOTREQ
Edit period(s): Daily
Already has a bot flag (Y/N): Y
Function Details: The bot will do the following:
- Get transclusions of {{badimage}}
- For each one, it will check that it is on the bad image list
- If it is, it skips. If it isn't, it removes it.
- (addendum) If it is on the file talk page, it removes it and adds it to the file page.
And it will also...
- Get all images on the bad image list
- For each one, it checks if it transcludes {{badimage}}
- If it is, it skips. If it isn't, it adds it.
Discussion
[edit]- It appears as if the template is sometimes placed on the File page, and sometimes on File talk. How are you going to handle this?
