Discussion
[edit]I don't see that you have any links to relevant discussions; I've poked around a little and it seems that the use and changing of these templates and modules has caused some editors to get hot around the collar; I read wholesale changes to be controversial. Please point to a discussion whereby the consensus opinion is to make the change; please show test-cases in the lua modules that demonstrate compatibility with the existing templates (yet fix the problems with the existing templates), please publicize the BRfA on the associate template and module pages, and the affected wikiprojects.
