Function Summary: This is an interwiki bot based on pywikipedia framework starting from :ml. It operates only on pages related to those present in Malayalam Wikipedia.

Edit period(s) (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): Continuous until a full pass through the pages in Malayalam wiki is complete. Then plan to run Bi-WEEKLY.

Edit rate requested: 750 edits per WEEK. Malayalam wiki is now a relatively small wiki, with around 4300 articles. So based on the bandwidth I have, expect a maximum of 750 edits/week in the initial run and much lesser later. (Unfortunately an incident occurred in between and the account was blocked before I could arrive at a better estimate)

I had wanted to get a better idea of the interwiki bot operation, including the rate of edits, before making a request for bot flag. My apologies that this was against the procedure, which I later realized I had to request approval for testing. --Jacob.jose 17:41, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
