Source code available: The bot will be operated by running through lists of pages from the RegEx search query insource:/\.\]\]\./ with a find and replace for .]].→.]], skipping pages with ...]].. It will use the edit summary Fixed consecutive punctuation error and general fixes (task 3).

Function details: Per MOS:CONSECUTIVE, Where a word or phrase that includes terminal punctuation ends a sentence, do not add a second terminal punctuation mark. This bot will fix some violations of this, using the AWB settings detailed above. I did 400 test edits through my non-bot account, which can be reviewed here. The only issue that came up was a revert here from D.Lazard for an instance of a linked term ending in an ellipsis. I'm not sure whether or not I agree that MOS:CONSECUTIVE doesn't apply for ellipses, but as that's not fully resolved I've excluded those pages with the skip function.
