Function details: This script will add a specified link to perlego.com in the External Links section of prelisted books, adding a free pdf to each book, e.g. The Crimson Patch doens't have any free online pdf linked in the External Link section. The script has a list of 50000 names, it will paste automatically a link in each article, but if the article page doesn't exist in wikipedia it will skip it, not creating any empty article.
Perlego respects copyright rights on the book it hosts, and doesn't get any payment for the books linked in wikipedia.
- Put a link into each book articles (in a list of 50000) that bring to perlego.com, for a free to read pdf of that book
- If a book in the list doesn't have any wikipedia article about it, it will be skipped, to avoid creating blank articles with only External Links
- If a book in the list doesn't have a clear author or title to refer to, it will be skipped
- Many book in the list aren't hosted on wikisource nor other free web services
- Perlego.com respects copyright rights on the book it hosts, and doesn't get any payment for the books linked in wikipedia
- the script will be used again only when a large amount of books get updated in the list
if the list is needed, it will be uploaded
