Function overview: Moves stock ticker templates from fields within {{Infobox company}} to the new | traded_as field.

Estimated number of pages affected: Not sure on amount of pages using stock ticker templates, but the bot is set to cycle through approximately 35k articles using the infobox template.

Function details: The bot will scan the pages using {{Infobox company}} for any usages of a stock ticker template. If the bot finds one or more (not in the traded_as field already), then it will create a new field (traded_as), remove it from the old field and update the infobox.

- Trial complete. A couple of stock ticker templates weren't being tracked, but are now. Also improved the bots ability to remove unnecessary formatting that was wrapped around the stock ticker templates. Noom talk contribs 12:48, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
