Automatic or Manually Assisted: auto
Programming Language(s): python
Function Summary: tagging new articles that meet Db-a3
Edit period(s) (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): continuous
Already has a bot flag (Y/N): y
Function Details: if the article is less than 20 characters, and doesn't have the strings "{{" "}}" "#REDIRECT" "]]" or "[[" in it, than it tags with {{Db-a3}}. This won't catch many articles, but rather fall on the safe side.

- Erm, this task is fairly non-controversial. This will only catch a few articles. Monobi (talk) 02:55, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Not a good idea, this would be better as a reporting bot rather than a tagging bot as it may bite newer users. βcommand 2 02:56, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- (ec, to Monobi) Non-controversial to you (and to me, I guess), but some members of the community are not fond of the idea of a bot tagging CSDs.
- (and after ec) I agree with Beta that posting a list would be a better idea. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 02:57, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Okay. If I'm just going to make a list than I will include more CSD criteria. This bot will only edit one page in its userspace. It can then be transluded (if that's a word) like a template. Thoughts? Monobi (talk) 02:59, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Sounds like a good idea. What CSD criteria do you have in mind? dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 03:01, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Request Expired. Marking request as expired as it was either never transcluded to Wikipedia:BRFA or has had no attention for some time. Richard0612 12:18, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
