Automatic or Manually Assisted: Automatic
Programming Language(s): PHP
Function Summary: Swap {{Grammar}} for {{copyedit}} with "for=grammar." parameter.
Edit period(s) (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): One time run
Already has a bot flag (Y/N): Y
Function Details: {{Grammar}} was recently made a redirect to {{copyedit}}. However, the important context that it was the grammar that required improvement was lost. Hence the need for one to be replaced by a suitable copy-edit template. ~330 articles need editing in this manner.
Discussion
[edit]I agree with that. The editor has contacted me before making this request and I adviced him to do so. I think it's not a hard task to do. Magioladitis (talk) 13:03, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Approved for trial (20 edits). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. I'll approve both tasks for trial, it's up to you what order you run the trials in. Richard0612 13:48, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Trial complete. I've chosen this one first. These trial edits showed up a couple of minor problems, which I would like to assure you that I have fixed. Firstly, the misspelt "copedit" instead of "copyedit" in the edit summary (correct for last two edits). Secondly, there was a problem with spaces meaning pages with the template weren't corrected. Both have now been fixed. - Jarry1250 (t, c) 16:51, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Approved. Everything looked good in the trial apart from the problems that you already mentioned, and now that they've been fixed I see no reason not to approve. Richard0612 17:03, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
