Function details: At WP:Bot requests, a request was made to tag talkpages of pages from 4,300 categories list of categories.

After making some dummy test edits, I created a list of non-repetitive pages which is around 17,000.

all these categories are explicitly about women's basketball. some of the talpkages are missing "WikiProject Women's sport", some have it, but are missing the "basketball" ({{WikiProject Women's sport|basketball=yes}}), and similar goes true for {{WikiProject Basketball|women=yes}}.

{{bot trial complete}} the 50 edits. Apparently, the program is removing everything else from the talkpage other than wikiproject banners. I think I have found the reason/flaw. Trial complete. the 50 edits. In the trial, only one issue was found, in case "WikiProject Basketball" was being updated, it was preceding with a new line. I have rectified the issue. —usernamekiran (talk) 07:19, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There are problems all over; I'm not even going to link them because I'm seeing them on almost every page I check, but here's what I'm seeing (with a few examples for each):
I will be honest, I am surprised and quite frankly disappointed in the quality of this bot run. An extended trial will be given, but I want to make sure you understand what has gone wrong and how to deal with those issues going forward. Primefac (talk) 23:32, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I apologise. I had caught the blp tag issue (duplication, as well as spacing) before posting here, and I had corrected it, but I forgot to mention it.
