Discussion
[edit]I do not have much time to be editing manually, so, I wanna help with a bot.

- It is impossible for a bot to detect unsourced edits, and not all edits require a source. While some blatant cases of vandalism might be detected by a bot, much more information about how this would be achieved would have to be provided. --Jc3s5h (talk) 00:13, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
So, what ? I didn't generalise when I said "revert unsourced edits", I know that not all edits require a source, but I thought to do it with the edition who would need it.

- I don't understand " I thought to do it with the edition who would need it." --Jc3s5h (talk) 00:54, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Denied. WP:BOTNOTNOW. A bot operator must have a good understanding of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines and must have the trust of the community. It doesn't look like you've demonstrated that through your editing yet. "I don't have time to edit manually" is also very poor justification for running a bot, as a bot operator must be available to address others' concerns. And frankly, your proposed bot task seems to show that little thought went into how you would actually do this with an automated process.
If you really want to run a bot, spend some time editing as a normal user first. And then come back with a proposal that not only states what you want to do but also how you intend to actually do it. Anomie⚔ 02:18, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
