Discussion
[edit]A couple of questions to clarify:
- Checks through pages and adds missing parameters in
{{WikiProject Canada}}
— I'm assuming you're talking about the provinces. Are there any other template parameters you were going to update? Also, if there are already template parameters on it, will it preserve existing ones? - Adds WikiProject Canada and WikiProject Biography templates. — If either of these templates are already on the talk pages, will it detect them appropriately?
- Removes redirects to these templates as well. — Does you mean it'll replace templates that have been redirected to other templates? Will it migrate any existing template parameters? Also, do you happen to have an example of one of the redirected templates it's looking for?
Cheers =) --slakr\ talk / 02:28, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Q1 - Yes, it adds the province and ppap parameters (set at yes), and it preserves existing parameters. It also does check if these parameters (province and ppap) already exist.
- Q2 - It detects them appropriately (detects all redirects).
- Q3 - It'll remove the redirects to these two WikiProject templates, and it only replaces the name. It doesn't actually touch any of the parameters. An example is changing the redirect "{{WPCANADA" to the original "{{WikiProject Canada".
- Sorry for not being specific enough in stating the function details.

[1][2][3] These bugs have been fixed.
Trial complete. ~FeedintmParley 23:54, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm assuming the bugfix will now leave all html entities alone? For example, will [4] not happen again? --slakr\ talk / 02:27, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Also, somewhat minor, but it made a null edit when there was presumably nothing to change. --slakr\ talk / 02:32, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- For the first one, that shouldn't occur again, and the second one, it makes a very minor edit of removing the space. ~FeedintmParley 02:55, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Those bugs are relatively minor, and I'll take your word that they've been fixed. Approved. --Chris 11:27, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
