Discussion
[edit]- Dinojerm is one of my friends in real life, and I asked him if he could make a bot that could make updating market indices easier. I don't always get home from school at 4:00 P.M. EST (20:00 UTC), and so I can't update the market indices right after the close of the US markets. Also, Yahoo finance tends to update Asian markets for the next day sometime in the afternoon-evening (it basically resets itself and goes to 0.00 for stock price change), so it sometimes is a hassle for me to update the market indices because I have to reference back to the previous day's prices and do a bit of math. - Bot trial run approved for the duration of one week. Seems simple enough.Voice-of-All 23:39, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Approved. This bot has been running successfully for some time now. It only runs once per day, so it does not require a bot flag. -- RM 21:36, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
