Discussion
[edit]Please make a userpage for you bot (even a redirect). Is this page so active that it needs to be cleaned every minute? The redlinks themselves are an indication that action is no longer needed. — xaosflux Talk 02:50, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I taken a liberty and assumed that this is the second task for User:ClueBot II, not the first task for User:ClueBot II 2 as you had implied. I would also request that you lower the rate to once every 10 minutes, and the removing of redlinks is not something that needs to be done instantaneously. —METS501 (talk) 03:02, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Does Wikihermit's bot no longer do this? — madman bum and angel 00:50, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- As far as I know, it doesn't. I was the original author of Wikihermit's code for this job and Wikihermit asked me on IRC to run it. -- Cobi(t|c|b|cn) 00:59, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Approved for trial (25 edits). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. Reedy Boy 23:05, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I am having login problems from the toolserver, so I asked Cobi to run it. If I can figure out why, I'll run it. I see no harm in two bots doing the same task. ~ Wikihermit 19:18, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I have completed the trial run. The automatic cutoff after 25 didn't work, and as a result, it made 34 edits before I realized that it had gone past it's limit. I apologize. Everything else seems to be in order. Here are it's edits. -- Cobi(t|c|b|cn) 16:31, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Approved. - Will run flagged. Reedy Boy 20:54, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
