OK. I have read the policies and I can restrict the cosmetic_changes.py use on en. I am quite surprised by your suggestion to create a doppelgänger account as my principal account is identified on the bot page, but if you think it's better, I will create it immediatly. Will the bot be staying out of the template namespace, as required by our policy on interwiki linking bots? From the command you said you'd use, it looks like it would be going inside the Template namespace which is not allowed here, you'll probably have to add -namespace:0 -namespace:14 to restrict it to articles and categories (or something like that, depending on what namespaces you want to work on, see Wikipedia:Namespace for a list of namespace IDs). - EdoDodo ^talk 05:44, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to take the time you need for the trial, it may take a while to find pages needing changes, since a lot of our pages already have interwikis.
