Discussion
[edit]Approved for trial (10 cases/cats). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. When you say "manual", do you mean you will check every edit before it is made? — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 11:07, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- No. I mean, that it will involve no automation. Armbrust The Homunculus 11:24, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Why do you need this on a bot account then? Usually the reasons are either community concern of automation and/or large number of edits. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 11:26, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- It could involve a large number of edits, 2-4 edits by category. Currently 70 categories needs to be created, which needs 140-280 edits. Armbrust The Homunculus 11:43, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Trial complete. Armbrust The Homunculus 12:22, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How do you decide what you CSD and what you redirect? — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 21:49, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- I mostly leave a category redirect for former names and for category renames involving hyphen to ndash conversion. Armbrust The Homunculus 22:30, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Approved. Manual task. As per WP:NOTBURO, won't drag out the BRFA, as these are done on a main account anyway. Whether you use bot and minor flags are at your discretion as to how visible these changes ought to be. I don't see anything controversial, though it might be a good idea to not use the bot flag for edits that you think users watching these categories might want to notice. In fact, this being a manual task, I probably suggest not using bot flag here at all. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 22:39, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
