Function details: This bot will update several MediaWiki space pages to update WP:AFCH. I will need an admin bit on the bot for this task due to it updating MediaWiki space pages. This will be the sole purpose of this account.

Discussion

Denied. You cannot run an adminbot without already being an admin, see WP:ADMINBOT. Also see WP:BOTACC. And note that you would have to explain in much greater detail exactly which pages the bot would be editing and exactly what edits it would make to them. Anomie⚔ 23:27, 15 July 2013 (UTC)
