Your problem:

[edit]

Endroit and I are locked into a sourcing dispute regarding using the official website of Frederic Fekkai as a source. You may view our ongoing discussion here: Talk:Frédéric Fekkai.

My main point is that the source is not reliable given its self-serving nature. The website offers little more than advertisement of Frederic Fekkai's products/services, which inherently makes it unusable for even the external link section.

In addition, the biography sections uses peacock terms without any references, and the only quasi-references used are in the press section, which you'll notice is guilty of contextomy in order to promote Frederic Fekkai. Thus far, I've explained my points on the article's discussion page, and I have reverted the article 3 times also requesting reliable secondary sources, but Endroit is evidently not in agreement with me.

I hereby respectfully request different views with clarification on sourcing requirements where necessary to ensure a consensus is reached, which I'm assuming Endroit also desires. Thank you. — Dorvaq (talk) 18:30, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Addendum: Endroit has filed a request for comment. — Dorvaq (talk) 18:37, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Addendum: There is no need to assign, as a consensus was reached over the specific link on the article's discussion page and I have brought up my issue regarding general official sites at the more appropriate place; Wikipedia talk:External links‎#Official websites. Thanks. — Dorvaq (talk) 17:00, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
