Questions:
[edit]Have you read the AMA FAQ?
- Answer: Yes
How would you describe the nature of this dispute? (policy violation, content dispute, personal attack, other)
- Answer: Content Dispute, This administrator continues to remove in a ununiformly fashion station logos from apparently randomly selected stations in the name of copyright violations. The problem is that none of these stations that I know of have mailed notices of issues and feel he is angering community members unnessecarily for the sake of his own administrative thoughts of prowess. I don't mean to sound facious as I'm sure in his mind he is doing something right but I strongly feel that he is enforcing a standard that is not enforced uniformly and really has no basis for his panic that television stations are going to sue over logo usage.
What methods of Dispute Resolution have you tried so far? If you can, please provide wikilinks so that the Advocate looking over this case can see what you have done.
- Answer: None but I am 93% sure just based on reading this member's responses to discussion on this topic that there will be no compromise for his reasoning of legal copywright issues
What do you expect to get from Advocacy?
- Answer: Some advice but I sincerely hope some more enlightned policy would come of this discussion. Those are high hopes though but I think this discussion needs to be continued outside of this member's discussion page
