West Galena Township is one of 23 townships in Jo Daviess County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 3,323 and it contained 1,849 housing units.[2]

[edit]According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 11.2 square miles (29 km2), of which 9.5 square miles (25 km2) (or 84.82%) is land and 1.7 square miles (4.4 km2) (or 15.18%) is water.[2]
