Wendy Heard is an American novelist. She is the author of several books, including thrillers for both young adults and adult readers.
Career
[edit]After releasing two thrillers for adult readers, Hunting Annabelle and The Kill Club,[1] Heard released her young adult debut, She's Too Pretty to Burn, in 2021. The book was inspired by The Picture of Dorian Gray.[2] Her next two novels, Dead End Girls[3] and We'll Never Tell, were also YA titles.[4]
Personal life
[edit]Heard is from California. Growing up, her father lived in San Francisco; she lived in Los Angeles with her mother, as well as San Diego, briefly.[5]
