Welland is a suburb[citation needed] and ward[3][4] of the town of Market Harborough in Leicestershire, England. It is located in the west and southwest of the town.
Geography
[edit]The ward covers both the western and southwestern parts of the town. It takes its name from the nearby River Welland[5] which runs through the middle of the ward. It is located between the town and the nearby village of Lubenham. It is mostly a mix of residential estates with open spaces[6] and the former Rugby and Stamford Railway passes through the middle of it.[7]
