He previously served on the Grand Council of Aargau from 1981 to 1999. He was a board member of several meat producer associations and a regional bank. He is the father of Christian Glur, who currently also serves on the National Council (Switzerland), succeeding Martina Bircher.[3]

  • Maya Glur (born 1971), a psychologist and banking specialist, who is married to Marc Weber, and based in Zurich, Switzerland.[4][5]
