Walker Eget is an American football quarterback for the San Jose State Spartans.
Early life and high school
[edit]Eget attended West Ranch High School located in Stevenson Ranch, California.[1] Coming out of high school, Eget was rated as a three-star recruit, where he decided to commit to play college football for the San Jose State Spartans.[2][3]
College career
[edit]During Eget's first three seasons from 2021 through 2023, Eget appeared in four games where he completed one of his nine pass attempts for eight yards, while also redshirting.[4][5][6][7] In week eight of the 2024 season, Eget got his first career start where he completed 20 of his 38 passes for 318 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions, as he helped lead the Spartans to a 24-14 win over the Wyoming Cowboys.[8] In week eleven, Eget threw for 395 yards and a touchdown, as he helped San Jose State clinch bowl eligibility by beating the Oregon State Beavers.[9]
