Vikas Pandurang Thakre is an Indian politician who won the 14th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election. He represents Nagpur West (Vidhan Sabha constituency) and belongs to the Indian National Congress.[1][2][3] He is the President of Nagpur District Congress Committee. He is also a Trustee of Nagpur Improvement Trust (N.I.T.) since December 2020.Thakre contested 2024 Lok Sabha Elections unsuccessfully against Union Cabinet Minister Nitin Gadkari from Nagpur constituency and lost with a margin of 1.5 lakh votes.
