Victor Huot

Victor Huot (February 17, 1822 - June 1904)[1] was a builder and architect in Davenport, Iowa. He was from France. He was close with fellow architect T. W. McClelland.[2] He designed Ambrose Hall at 518 W. Locust in Davenport as well as St. Joseph's Catholic Church at W. 6th Street and Marquette Street. Both are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
He established a sash door and blind manufacturing business.[3] In 1870 he partnered with C. G. Hipwell to do slate roof work.[1] He was survived by his wife and two children.[1]
