Vadym Serhiyovych Mashchenko (Ukrainian: Вадим Сергійович Мащенко; born 26 July 2000) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a right winger for Slovak club Humenné.[1]
Club career
[edit]Early years
[edit]Vadym Mashchenko started his career at Olimp from Starobilsk in 2012. The following year, he moved to the youth ranks of Zorya Luhansk.[2]
Dynamo Kyiv
[edit]At the age of 14, he moved to the youth ranks of Dynamo Kyiv.
Chornomorets Odesa
[edit]In February 2021, he moved on loan to Chornomorets Odesa.[3]
Baltic
[edit]In the summer of 2022, Mashchenko joined Lithuanian side Jonava on loan. He made his debut on 16 August 2022 in a LFF Cup match against FC Hegelmann.[4]
Five days later, Mashchenko made his first A Lyga appearance in a 3–1 loss against Žalgiris.[5][6] On 16 September 2022, he opened the scoring in a 2–1 loss against Kauno Žalgiris.[7][8]
Ahead of the 2023 season, he was transferred to Latvian Higher League newcomers Jelgava.[9]
Karpaty Krosno
[edit]On 27 February 2024, Mashchenko joined Polish fourth division side Karpaty Krosno.[10]
Humenne
[edit]On 3 July 2024, he moved to Slovak 2. Liga club Humenné.[11]
