Great job adding three bibliographies to your bibliography page. As you look for additional information, more recently published articles like the Sharma, H. (2015) article you cited may be helpful. As I read the article I noticed that the language used may not accurately reflect current findings. For example in the intro it states "Meditation may significantly reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and pain,[8] and enhance peace, perception,[9] self-concept, and well-being.[10][11][12][13]" Meditation has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety depress and pain in certain individuals, in a number of different studies. The current wording implies that meditation itself it may or may not work rather than results vary by person. The Potential Adverse Side Effects sub-section may be worth investigating further. Citation 180 is a dead link. The source for citation 181 conveys the information in a more neutral tone. I am uncertain of the reliability of the sources for citations 182 and 183. Citation 184 is for a source that was published in 1999. There is a more recent journal article that cites source 184 that contains more current information:

Lambert, D. & van den Berg, Nicholas & Mendrek, A.. (2021). Adverse effects of meditation: A review of observational, experimental and case studies. Current Psychology. 10.1007/s12144-021-01503-2. Review of Adverse Effects

Thank you for your feedback. I was searching for more updated articles, so I really appreciate you suggesting some. This helps a lot. Also now that I think about it, the wording is slightly misleading. Zweathersby (talk) 04:39, 27 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
