Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Zulkifl Agha, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Maria B., may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Bakilas (talk) 05:55, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Maria B. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://mariab.s-he.co.uk/maria-b/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I didn't knew the policies of wikipedia, and never understand the concept of this talk page. I want the deleted page of Maria B back, as i got copyrights to that data. Secondly how I can be unblocked as I was really unaware of the serious consequences of making multiple accounts. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:KrakatoaKatie

I have requested an admin, as they are the only ones who can revert an article deletion. Also, all text on Wikipedia is available under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License, so you do not own the copyright to the article. Additionally, I have not found anything that states your account is blocked. Daylen (talk) 06:07, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
We don't however, restore copyright violations. The text is available from the original source at mariab.s-he.co.uk/maria-b/. That page is listed as © Maria.B. 2017; unless/until this is changed to allow the content to be used under a free CC-BY-SA licence, it cannot be used on Wikipedia and will not be restored.
Instructions on appealing a block are available at the appeals guide. Yunshui  09:43, 25 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Am i blocked forever ? That's insane, i was unaware of using wikipedia. And I seriously want to be a part of it, is there any way by which i can get back in community? It's been more than a year of being in "Jail", I request to get me out of this jail. :(

Decline reason:

Hi Zulkifl Agha – the first thing we often tell people is that indefinite does not mean infinite. Please see the guide to appealing blocks – in short, you will be unblocked when you convince Wikipedia administrators that (a) either the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or (b) that the block is no longer necessary because (1) you understand what you have been blocked for, (2) will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and (3) will make useful contributions instead. I would strongly recommend you read that page at your earliest convenience.
Do you know the reason you were blocked? Can you explain that reason to us? If you are unblocked, what edits do you plan to make to Wikipedia? I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, but after you've read the guide to appealing blocks, please feel free to submit another unblock request, and make sure to specifically answer the questions I've listed above. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
