Stukeley Westcott
[edit]Hello Zuky, and welcome to wikipedia; I'm fairly new myself. I noticed that in the subject article you put a link from John Marchant, Sr. to the John Marchant who was a seafarer with Drake. Do you have anything to corroborate that the seafarer was the same John Marchant who married Eva Cominge in Yeovil? I don't have access to your sources, and they don't look like they would necessarily specify that the two individuals were one and the same. As far as I know, it was never known in the family that the grandfather of Stukeley Westcott's wife sailed with Drake, so I'd really love to see some evidence that suggests that this is the case. Thanks.Sarnold17 (talk) 18:29, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
Hi, it's been a while now since I researched this, but no, I don't have any definitive evidence that these two John Marchants were one and the same. The dates match, though. I'd be glad to share my research if you want to contact me.

Fixing vandalism
[edit]Hello, when you encounter vandalism like you did at Sunni Islam, don't add a {{fact}} tag to it. Instead, check the page history and either revert or undo the vandalism. I've cleaned the article up, but I'm just letting you know in case you encounter a similar situation in the future. Graham87 14:15, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Paul the Apostle, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Antichrist (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Marking edits as minor
[edit]Hello, Zuky79. I noticed that you marked two recent additions to Mistakes were made as minor edits. Minor edits are things like correcting typos or formatting, or reverting clear-cut vandalism and test edits. The changes that you made to 'Mistakes were made' were good, but they were not minor. Happy editing. Cnilep (talk) 01:03, 26 December 2012 (UTC)

The article Wayne Today has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Newspaper / business with no sourcing and no evidence of notability.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Alansohn (talk) 12:59, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
