Finalising an article: Draft:Dodo_Newman

[edit]

I created an article as a Draft: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Dodo_Newman Could you please help me to validate it and to move it to the Live articles? I also noticed that somehow I might not link properly the article together with the photo I uploaded to it: File:Wikipedia-dodo-newman.jpg THANK YOU for your kind assistance.

Hi Zsoltszemerszky, You've properly submitted the draft to be reviewed by experienced Wikipedia editors. I'd request you to wait for some considerable amount of time as the reviewing process does take some time, normally two-three weeks. However, at this time it may take even longer due to the process being backlogged since few months (around 2500 submissions awaiting to be reviewed). I've fixed the image in the draft. You may find 'Picture tutorial' helpful in any similar or further cases. Hope, it does help. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 09:55, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Anupmehra, thank you very much for your kind help with the image. I will look forward the approval of the article. Thanks again.
Unfortunately that draft is not ready to be accepted. Wikipedia content should be based on reliable sources that are independent of the subject, but discuss it in some detail. The only sources that so much as mention Newman are those in relation to her diamond-studded artwork, and few of those provide details about Newman herself. Wikipedia itself is not a reliable source and should not be used as a reference; links to other Wikipedia articles are merely a convenience for our readers. See Help:Links on how to create such links. Huon (talk) 11:55, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Huon (talk). Thank you for your message. Regarding the biography of Dodo Newman there were two books published and both are linked to the page:

1., The Inspirationalist: The true life of Dodo Newman (ISBN-13: 978-1447866572 - November 29, 2011 - http://amzn.com/1447866576)

2., Out of the Box Innovation: (ISBN-13: 978-1300856085 - March 20, 2013 - http://amzn.com/1300856084)
Furthermore you can also read about her biography on Newman's official biography: https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/dodo-newman-inspirationaliste/id883112488 and/or http://issuu.com/dodonewman/docs/portfolio_2014
You can also find out more for the other project (Titanic project (http://www.titanic-project.com), Princess Charlene artwork) by simply Google them. I truly believe that I ensured the necessary reliable sources.
I hope the article will be accepted soon. With Kind regards, Zsolt 17:55, 4 December 2014 (UTC)

Censoring: Draft:Dodo_Newman

[edit]

I created an article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Dodo_Newman It contained the following line: “In 24th August 2014, Dodo Newman gave birth to Faye Martha Novak, daughter of Alf-Peter Karl-Friedrich Schulz von Siemens." Yesterday I noticed that it was removed by the father of the child. However it is the profile of Ms Newman and she strongly asked to present that she is a mother of this child. How can I avoid that the father always remove this line? Should we upload the birth certificate as well? What could be the right way to create a TRUE biography without censoring by the father?

The information was removed, rightly, as it was unsourced. Until a reliable source covers this, per WP:BLP, it should not be restored. --Mdann52talk to me! 11:17, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Mdann52talk to me! Dear [User:Mdann52], could you please put back the article in order to make some correction in it? All the contents are the own property of Dodo Newman. The issue is her public portfolio as an artists. And the MonacoWealthManagement article was created from a public press release based on her work for Princess Charelene. These sites are only linkned as references. Please let me know how should I correct the article and I will do it.
