Welcome to my page! What are you looking for by the way??
Hello, and welcome
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedian and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed you were a newcomer, so I thought I would give you a couple of tips.
- Always use correct grammar in Wikipedia articles. This includes simple conventional errors, like forgetting a comma, not capitalizing something, anything.
- Always use correct spelling in Wikipedia articles. This includes very simple things suck as typos. They are easily fixed, and sometimes, people will do that for you, but correct errors that you know about.
- Learn Wiki Markup. It is pretty much a slightly simpler version of HTML. If you need help with this, check out the How to edit a page article to check out the Wiki Markup. Check out different Wiki formats in the sandbox.
- Always Wikify. Wikifing is pretty much making sure you have simple links to pages that may be articles, making sure that the reader knows what a person is talking about. If you don't know how to create a link to another Wikipedia article, use
[[]]
to put a link. Like, for example, I'll make a link to The Beatles, using these simple brackets. What I would type would be[[The Beatles]]
. The _ is automatically filled in the space. Here would be the link. The Beatles But their are more complicated links, but you can check that out in the How to edit a page article. - Always have creditable facts. Make sure that your information is creditable, otherwise, people can say the information is incorrect, and in some cases, you can get that article deleted.
- And lastly, be bold. Its a pretty common statement used when they talk about editing pages. Just be bold and edit at your pleasure. But make sure that the information you add is creditable, and people know what you are talking about. And if you have to, research your topic before writing an article. Its like a research paper. Check out the stuff before you go in and start writing.

Also, and one last tip. Whenever you post on the your talk page, or anyone else's talk page, or an article's talk page for that matter, make sure you add 4 tildes (~~~~
), so people know who you are. Like I'm gonna do here.
Thanks for reading. And good luck with your editing. Lkegley9 13:31, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! (→Netscott) 14:57, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
