[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Special Program in the Arts a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Trailing Slash on Root URLs
[edit]Go your address bar and type "google.com". Observe what happens when you hit enter. Then tell me, please, why you felt the need to edit out the trailing slashes in links at the Opera 10 article. These slashes may not be necessary (as it's the root), but they do belong. Apart from being unproductive, your edit sort of scares me. (Why did you bother? What made you even notice??) I don't see any merit per se in reverting your edit, but I'm quite curious. Was this just a matter of style or did you have some productive reason? (Incidentally, if it is a matter of style, I prefer the trailing slash ;))

redirects
[edit]when an article is moved, the original title, right or wrong, must be kept, in order to preserve the edit history. Hi Zollerria, please do not remove the article content when suggesting speedy deletion, even if it is only a redirect. Instead, add the CSD tag to the top of the page. Also please try to find the criterion under which you wish pages to be speedily deleted; this makes work for administrators easier. The {{Speedydelete}} template I believe is outdated, better use {{db}} with the specific reason, e.g. {{db-r3}} for an implausible redirect.

think there's room for a compromise here. It's clear that details such as particular channel numbers and the day-to-day schedule are largely useless to most people, but the list of channels served by a provider is quite relevant and relatively stable. To those who wish to redirect readers to the provider's web site: remember that Wikipedia is not just a website - articles about these providers may end up in printed books far away from an Internet terminal. redirects
[edit]It is WP policy to redirect from all likely alternative capitalizations of multi-word phrases. Quite apart from that, trying to delete possibly unneeded but harmless redirects is not really productive; it takes much more in the way of both human and computer resources to remove them than to let them be. Even if you are concerned about disk space, which you need not be because it is exceedingly cheap, removing a page does not release disk space, because all old versions are always saved: a deletion just marks them as invisible.
If you would like to work on redirects, which the previous messages seem to indicate, what is needed most is the addition of missing ones: find an article with a possibly ambiguous title, click on "what links here", and see if there are any plausible alternatives not included, and make them. [edit]Hello! I would like to ask that you review Help:Minor edit. It appears that you have checked the minor edit box on a number of edits for which you have added new content. In general, when you add new content, don't check the minor box. In addition, it would be helpful if you could be a little clearer on your edit summaries, by saying what you are actually changing.
