Your picture
[edit]I added now your picture at the article Green and Turquoise (color). It is because I think it can be useful there. Your picture might be removed from the article you added it, but I think in those articles has a certain encyclopedic value. Hafspajen (talk) 13:35, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
Thanks! --Zj007ny (talk) 13:39, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
- Sigh, well, it was removed. I can try to find several articles to add it to, it may stay in some of them... It is a big and healthy Yorkie, and that is good. Hafspajen (talk) 14:25, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
Why are people so difficult?--Zj007ny (talk) 14:30, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
- Added it here to, Toy dog, because it illustrates a point. Well, people I guess are used to the pictures in the so called Stable version - and it is difficult to change the pictures that are already in a well established article. But with a little orientation one can find other places to use it. I guess - only guess - that there was too many attempts to add images of Teacup Yorkies lately to the article. And, - your User page link is red. That will make the patrolers allert, they use to check all new users edits. My advice is to put anything on your User page, a userbox, a couple of words, a helloeverybody - that will turn it blue. And make people bit less difficult ... . Check out WP:Userboxes, maybe you find something you like....? Se here. Hafspajen (talk) 14:38, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Userboxes/Gallery .. just click on the links. And there is a rule, three revert rule, and I think you are on the verge of breaking it. Yngvadottir, can you explain it? WP:Three revert rule. Hafspajen (talk) 14:42, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
- (edit conflict)Hi Zj007ny, it is not that editors are being difficult. Please don't add the images again as three different editors have now removed them. Hafspajen has kindly added them to other articles to try to help. Unfortunately, the two images you are edit warring to keep in do not illustrate anything about the breed. The only other suggestion I can offer is that you try taking the matter to the article talk page as you might end up being blocked if you continue to revert. Thanks to both! I felt the photo was much better than the one that was there previously and now there is no photo. I appreciate the help and have created a user page! --Zj007ny (talk) 15:01, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Zj007ny: The others are giving you good advice. You have been reverting repeatedly, which we call edit warring and it's a no-no. Go post at Talk:Yorkshire Terrier about why you believe your picture is better. Ideally, you would do this immediately you get reverted: the sequence is referred to as BRD, for bold edit - revert - discuss; go there now and make your case. Yngvadottir (talk) 15:05, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
Done! Thanks! Hafspajen, care to adopt me?
- Well, yes, on two conditions.
- 1) you sign your comment and discuss instead of editwar - and do promise that, don't make me loose face.
- 2) I presume this is your dog. Go and discuss photo technique with one of our image experts, like for example User:Crisco 1492 and take a real good picture on that dog. A good image that is crisp, sharp, centered, in focus, well composed. Showing nothing but the dog, prefereably from side in a good clear position. No hands, arms legs of the owner in it, no other objects - just the dog... And when Crisco said that image is fine, we add that one to the article. Hafspajen (talk) 15:40, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
- Will do. Sorry for the delay, have been very busy with work and school. Another issue I have is that an article I created as a project for school two years ago has been suggested for deletion and I don't really understand why, would you mind taking a look as it was a lot of work, well-sourced and I am very proud of it Ruchir Sharma Thank you! --Zj007ny (talk) 22:48, 26 September 2014 (UTC)

Explaining
[edit]I patrolled your page. I went through the enormously-backlogged list of newly-created pages and confirmed that your page was okay: not spam, not an attack page, not a copyright violation, not any of the other reasons for which I would delete someone's page without asking. Then I clicked "patrolled" to remove it from the list of "pages that have not yet been patrolled", and moved on to the next entry. That's all. DS (talk) 14:50, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
