Milford Sound

[edit]

Hello. Thanks for your weather data for Milford Sound. Can you please reference where you have got that from? MadMaxDog 23:41, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There should now be better references. –Zinjixmaggir 08:16, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Espoo

[edit]

Well, if you go and have a look at other similar articles, such as Helsinki, Vantaa, Kuhmo, Finström, Hanko, Askola, etc., you'll get the idea. The template you put in the article on Espoo isn't really the best one available, especially when it omits some of the information. --ざくら 18:01, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But can you put the same template in e.g. Iniö? The currently used infobox is not a template (which is for a good reason), but it was specifically designed to be used in articles on Finnish municipalities. Plus, it's used in the Finnish Wikipedia, it gives the articles a more uniform look, and it fits better than the city template since it includes information common to Finnish municipalities, but not for major cities.
The template may fit a city better, but do you think it really is the best option for a Finnish city? --ざくら 16:15, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to WikiProject Typography

[edit]

Hello! You are invited to join the WikiProject Typography, a recently founded WikiProject, which aims at improving articles related to typography. We could need some assistance in getting the ball rolling. Kind regards, — Tirk· “…” 12:48, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Warm thanks for the invitation! I'll be following the project. –Zinjixmaggir 08:35, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimania 2010 could be coming to Stockholm!

[edit]

I'm leaving you a note as you may be interested in this opportunity.

People from all six Nordic Wiki-communities (sv, no, nn, fi, da and is) are coordinating a bid for Wikimania 2010 in Stockholm. I'm sending you a message to let you know that this is occurring, and over the next few months we're looking for community support to make sure this happens! See the bid page on meta and if you like such an idea, please sign the "supporters" list at the bottom. Tack (or takk), and have a wonderful day! Mike H. Fierce! 10:59, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note, I'm delighted to hear Stockholm has been presented as an option. –Zinjixmaggir 13:36, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Burger Fuel.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Burger Fuel.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. FASTILY (TALK) 02:09, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Burger Fuel.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Burger Fuel.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 20:28, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
