If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. The article failed to provide a claim of encyclopedic notability, had no independent reliable sources confirming the existence and noteworthiness of the conference, and made unsupported statements touting the conference in the manner of an advertisement. With all due respect, Wikipedia does not exist to promote any gathering, whether it be a new scholarly conference, or an individual's birthday party. Without sources substantiating the encyclopedic noteworthiness of the conference, any content under this name serves no purpose other than promotion. Best wishes, Xoloz 19:25, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
