Control copyright icon Hello Ziad Rashad! Your additions to Egypt Vision 2030 have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. All other images must be made available under a free and open license that allows commercial and derivative reuse to be used on Wikipedia.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 14:00, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Category:World Youth Forum requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Speedy deletion contested: Daulatpur Chandi

Hello Ziad Rashad, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Daulatpur Chandi, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There is sufficient context to identify the subject of the article. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. JJP...MASTER![talk to] JJP... master? 23:04, 8 March 2021 (UTC)

@JJPMaster: Hey, thank you for notifying me about this! This was one of many WP:CSDs I've done today and when it comes to A1 (don't tag under this criterion in the first few minutes after a new article is created.) I thought giving it 30+ minutes was enough time for the article to be fairly filled out with anything rather than the almost-blank page I came across. Though, I should have instead just moved it to the user's drafts. So again, thank you! - 𓋹 𝓩𝓲𝓪𝓭 𝓡𝓪𝓼𝓱𝓪𝓭 𓋹 [user | talk] 00:13, 9 March 2021 (UTC)

Fenglingdu Town has already been moved to Draft:Fenglingdu Town so why did you create a new article? Pizza0614 (talk) 16:10, 9 March 2021 (UTC)

@Pizza0614: Hey, thank you for informing me about this. I'll be filing a deletion of the redundant new article since it's already been moved to drafts by another user.

what makes you think blocking me on wikipedia will work exactly? Unless your sitting here holding my hands while I'm at my desk theres not really much of stopping anything — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.143.145.108 (talk) 08:43, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
