Indeed, this is a nuisance and is insidious in Indonesia articles. Indonesians write 1,000,235.54 as 1.000.235,54. Numbers are often added to English Wikipedia in this format, and worse, some existing numbers even changed to this. I’m sure most who edit like this are not aware, but I suspect a few even impose the style knowing full well that there are variations between English and Indonesian. Of course, being English wikipedia we use the English convention even if the topic relates to Indonesia. Thanks. --Merbabu (talk) 05:27, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
